We can deliver our platinum prints pretty much any way you desire. From unmounted prints and sets shipped rolled or flat to archivally mounted, matted and framed pieces, we are able to accommodate your needs. We can't adequately address all the choices for matting and framing here, so we will only present our standard selection. However, we'd be happy to cover your other options at the time of order.
Unmounted prints are available individually for US$300, each, for 8x10 images. Diptychs and Triptychs (two or three images, respectively, on one printed sheet—approximately 10x16-inch and 10x24-inch image sizes) are US$450 and US$550. Sets of two or more prints (8x10 image size) are US$250 per print. All prints are signed, edition numbered, and serialized.
We normally ship unmounted prints rolled in a mailing tube, as this has proven to be the safest way to get them from us to you. Rolled shipping anywhere in the continental United States is included in the price of the print; however, rolled prints will have to be flattened before mounting and matting. At your request, we will also ship prints flat, packaged between sheets of archival mat board. Although we use extra care in shipping prints flat, we cannot guarantee they will arrive undamaged. There is an extra US$20 charge per order for flat shipping in the continental United States.
Mounted prints can be ordered either mounted and matted or mounted, matted, and framed. We normally mount on two-ply archival board and mat with four-ply board, both of which are “natural” white to complement the tone of our prints. 8x10 images are placed in the upper third of a vertical 16x20 mount (also called “museum” or “gallery” mounting). This very minimalist style of mounting draws the eye to the image without distraction and lends itself to group displays of images.
Our standard frame is a high-quality, black anodized aluminum unit with an approximately ½-inch flat reveal in front. We provide the frame with either glass or UV-blocking acrylic glazing, however we cannot guarantee against glass breakage during shipment. Other than the fragility of glass, the only real difference between the two types of glazing is that acrylic is easier to scratch. Therefore, we recommend (and personally use) acrylic glazing.
Standard archival mounting and matting is US$60 per 8x10 print, including shipping. Archival mounting, matting, and framing is US$135 per 8x10 print, including shipping.
Please don't hesitate to let us assist with custom mounting and framing for your print or prints. We want them to be as enjoyable for you to view as they were for us to make, so we offer a wide selection of mat and frame styles and colors to ensure our images enhance your environment. We can also combine complementary prints onto one board for grouping in a single frame. In short, let us know what you need, and we'll do our best to take care of it.
